The Depression, Mood Disorders and Schizophrenia Treatment/Research Centre is a leading assessment, treatment and research facility in the mental health field.

We are dedicated to providing quality patient care for psychiatric illness in the Golden Horseshoe area, utilizing the most up to date medical knowledge and novel clinical treatments available, whilst contributing to clinical research and provide ongoing education to patients and physicians.

History and Business Philosophy:
The Depression, Mood Disorders and Schizophrenia Treatment/Research Centre was developed as an independent assessment, treatment and research facility. We are better able to quickly adapt to new medical developments and changing regulations. To maintain our autonomy, we have resisted the pressure to become part of larger more bureaucratic organizations. We have developed an outstanding team and are able to provide excellent patient care as well as provide efficient service to our sponsors.

Location:
We are conveniently located in Burlington, Ontario, at the centre of the Golden Horseshoe, a dynamic and rapidly developing area, which allows access for a large patient population from Toronto to Niagara. We are located near major highway, train and bus routes. We are also located near to two major teaching and research facilities, McMaster University, in Hamilton, Ontario and University of Toronto Health Network, in Toronto, Ontario.
